Responding to our own sin.
Responding to sin out in the world:
Colossians 1:27-28
to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with
all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Chris
Christians speak the truth in love

Christians are intolerant of Sin:
Christians do not participate in sin:
Galatians
6:1-5
6 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are
spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one
looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. 2 Bear one
another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if
anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives
himself. 4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will
have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in
regard to another. 5 For each one will bear his own load.
1 Timothy
5:20-21
Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that
the rest also will be fearful of sinning.
James
5:19-20
19 My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns
him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error
of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude
of sins.
Luke 17:3-4
"Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he
repents, forgive him. 4 "And if he sins against you seven times a
day, and returns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' forgive
him."
Christians Live their faith
1 Peter
1:14-16
1 obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which
were yours in your ignorance, 15 but like the Holy One who called
you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; 16 because it is
written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY."
Ephesians
4:29
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a
word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment,
so that it will give grace to those who hear.
1 Peter
2:9-12
9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A
PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the
excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His
marvelous light; 10 for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are
THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have
RECEIVED MERCY.
11 Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from
fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. 12 Keep your behavior
excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they
slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as
they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.
If
everyone around you does not know you are a Christian, you aren't
doing it right.
