the workmanship of God. Man is a work of art or a
masterpiece. Ephesians 2:1

Adam is a word that stands for all of mankind. The
origin of the word is
unsure, but it means red, ruddy, or a red type of soil. God
created man
from the soil. Genesis 2:7

Man was
made in the likeness of God. God formed us in His image. It is
not a physical likeness for God has no form. The likeness is in
the qualities of God, such as love, mercy, justice, and

first Adam brought sin into the world. We are made alive in
Christ, the last Adam, who died to take away sin. I Corinthians

Enos is a word that means frail, sick, weak or
inferior. This stresses the
difference between God and man. Man is mortal and corruptible.

is a word that stresses man’s strength when associated with
God. If we trust God, we can do wonderful things. Man who
trusts and hopes in the Lord is a mighty man. Man is mighty,
powerful, and capable when trusting in God. Jeremiah 17:7

who does not make God his strength, only thinks he is mighty.
