			What Do You
			Think About God?

			Introduction:
Psalm 93:5 teaches that “Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord,
forever.” In our busy lives, we sometimes forget to reflect on who
God truly is. When we understand His nature—holy, eternal,
all-knowing, powerful, and just—we deepen our love and reverence for
			Him.

			God Is Holy
			To say that God is
holy means that He is entirely set apart, pure, and perfect. Hannah
declared, “There is none holy like the Lord” (1 Samuel 2:2). His
holiness defines His very being—it is His glory displayed in moral
perfection. Holiness “befits His house” (Psalm 93:5), meaning
everything about His dwelling and His people must reflect His
character. Isaiah 6:1–3 gives us a glimpse into heaven’s worship,
where the seraphim cry, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the
whole earth is full of His glory!” This repetition declares His
absolute purity and uniqueness. There is no one comparable to our
			holy God.

			God Is
			Eternal
			Our God exists
from everlasting to everlasting. Psalm 90:1–4 reveals that before
the mountains were formed, God already was. Everything we know had a
beginning—but God has none. He exists beyond the limits of time.
Revelation 1:8 calls Him “the Alpha and the Omega,” the beginning
and the end. Paul praises Him in 1 Timothy 1:17: “Now to the King
eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and
glory forever and ever.” Job 36:26 reminds us that “the number of
His years is unsearchable.” His eternal nature never changes, and
			His purpose stands forever.

			God Is
			All-Knowing
			God’s knowledge
encompasses everything—past, present, and future. Hebrews 4:13
declares that nothing is hidden from His sight. He sees all and
knows all, including our thoughts and motives. Job 34:21 and 31:4
affirm that His eyes are on every man and that He observes all his
steps. Psalm 33:13–15 says, “The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all
the sons of men.” He even knows our thoughts before we speak them
(Job 21:27) and searches the hearts of all (Revelation 2:23). God’s
knowledge is not detached—it is caring and personal. Jesus said that
the Father knows even the number of hairs on our heads. Such
intimate awareness should fill us with both comfort and reverence.

			God Is
			All-Powerful
			God’s power is
absolute. Colossians 1:16 declares, “For by Him all things were
created… all things were created through Him and for Him.” Nothing
exists apart from His creative will. He does whatever He pleases
(Psalm 115:3), and His purposes cannot be overturned. Job 26:14
admits that we only glimpse “the mere edges of His ways.” Jeremiah
10:11–13 reminds us that He made the earth by His power and
established the world by His wisdom. His power sustains the
universe, governs the nations, and upholds the lives of His people.
His strength never fails, and His might is beyond comprehension.

			God Is Fair
			and Just
			God is always
righteous in His judgments. Psalm 25:8 proclaims that He is “good
			and upright.” Moses declared, “He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
for all His ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Revelation 15:3
praises Him as “just and true” in all His ways. His justice is
impartial—He never shows favoritism or overlooks wrongdoing. Psalm
7:10–13 portrays Him as a righteous judge who daily expresses His
wrath against sin. Every judgment He makes is right. A final day of
judgment awaits all people (2 Corinthians 5:10), and it will be
perfectly fair according to His divine standard.
